Laborate Star

An auto colorimeter consists of a light source, optical filters, sample holder (cuvette), photo detector, and a digital display or recorder. Light from the source passes through a selected filter to obtain a specific wavelength, then travels through the sample solution. The solution absorbs part of the light, and the remaining light reaches the detector, which converts it into an electrical signal. This signal is automatically processed and displayed as absorbance, transmittance, or concentration.
